Cortland SPCA Looking For Donations to Help Injured Puppy

The Cortland County SPCA has provided an update on an injured boxer puppy that was found in a ditch by a good samaritan back on October 14th. The SPCA says the puppy is still hospitalized at Cornell.

The puppies injuries are a mid-diaphyseal fracture of the left femur and a slipped physis on the right proximal femur. The SPCA says the puppy will need a plate on his left femur and a FHO (femoral head osteotomy) surgery on the right. Cost for the surgeries is between $5,000 and $7,000.
