The 2022 Cortland Shootout is this weekend at SUNY Cortland and TC3 gyms.
This is the 17th year of the AAU sanctioned basketball tournament.
Age groups up to 17 years old compete – the finals are on Sunday.
“The field for this year’s tournament is smaller than in previous years.” said Machell Phelps, executive director of the CRSC, in a statement provided to WXHC. “In a collaborative effort with Central Western, SUNY Cortland and Tompkins-Cortland Community College, we are putting our best foot forward in an effort to bring back a little normalcy in the event schedule.”
The Cortland Regional Sports Council (www.cortlandsports.org) invites the community to come out and support the tournament. There is a nominal entry fee for adults. Age group finals will take place Sunday afternoon, starting around 1:00pm. The complete schedule can be viewed HERE.
