Syracuse Man Arrested In Preble With Three Pounds Of Marijuana

A Syracuse man was arrested after a traffic stop near Preble Tuesday (July 9) morning, after deputies with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office found him to be in possession of about three pounds of marijuana.

Officers originally pulled over 49-year-old Lukas Burlingham just before 10:00 a.m. for speeding on Route 281 near Preble.

They soon discovered him to be in possession of the marijuana and took him into custody.

Burlingham was then remanded to Cortland County Jail on $1000 cash/$2000 bond and will reappear in Preble Town Court August 13.
