Cortland City Police Investigator Daniel Edwards arrested Correy Lambert, age 30, of Cortland, last Friday (Jan. 21) for failing to meet the registration requirements set forth by the State’s Sex Offender Registration Act. As a level 3 sex offender, Lambert is required to check in with police every 90 days and provide an updated photograph of himself to the police annually. He failed to do both.
He is facing two felony charges:
- Violation of the Sex Offender Registry as a 2nd Offense
- Sex Offender Failure to appear to have photo taken
Lambert was arraigned and released to appear in City Court on February 25 at 10:45am.
