Entering his first year as Cortland schools Superintendent, Robert Edwards has quite the task in front of him as he prepares to reopen the district amidst a global pandemic.
He’s now asking students and families for their input through completion of a new comprehensive questionnaire, covering topics like in-person and distance learning, transportation and more.
District officials say they’ll use details from survey responses to help them develop a plan that meets full state approval.
Those are due from each district in New York by this Friday.
Governor Cuomo and state officials will then make individual determinations next week.
