Looking for a great way to give back to the community and get some fresh air? Tomorrow the Cortland Rural Cemetery is hosting its 8th annual “Cemetery Sweep-out Day” tomorrow. (May 6th)
The clean up coincides with the upcoming memorial day observance. The 44 acres of the cemetery needs many volunteers to help clean up and help ground staff with other projects.
All individuals and/or volunteer groups can participate. The clean up starts at 8 am. The Cortland Rural Cemetery is a non profit organization and is located at 110 Tompkins Street.
