Cortland Rotary Club Honors Several with ‘Pride of Workmanship’
In a tradition for rotary clubs started in 1975 in Australia, the ‘Pride of Workmanship’ Luncheon took place last Tuesday at Cortland Rotary Club’s meeting. It recognizes and honors individuals who take pride in their work and enrich the communities around them.
In a press release, the club says this year’s luncheon brought together colleagues, community leaders, friends, and family to recognize a group of individuals whose dedication, integrity, and passion elevate their workplaces and inspire those around them.
“This celebration is about more than just performance,” said Emma Whitman during the event. “It’s about honoring the heart behind the effort — the commitment to doing things not just well, but with purpose and pride.”
