A newly launched daily bus route now offers Cortland and Tompkins County residents a low-cost lift to and from the state-run vaccination site at the Expo Center in Syracuse.
The bus will leave downtown Cortland each morning at 10:10 am, reaching the State Fairgrounds at 11am. The return trip leaves at 2pm and reaches Cortland at 2:50pm.
On Sundays, two round trips will be offered at 12:10pm and 5:20pm, with 3pm and 8:10pm return times.
Initially, this route will only run 6 days a week, but Saturday service will be added in the near future.
Also, service isn’t limited to those with a vaccine appointment. Anyone needing transportation between Ithaca, Cortland, and Syracuse can also buy a ticket.
Roundtrip tickets from Cortland to Syracuse cost $15.
