Cortland Rep Has Announced Their Summer Season

Cortland Repertory Theatre, now entering their 51st season has announced their summer lineup of shows. All shows in the summer season take place at the Dwyer Memorial Park Pavilion in Preble.




The season will start off with Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express from June 7th to the 16th. This show was canceled last year due to covid.

Cortland Repertory Theater saying:

“CRT is thrilled to offer this exciting production to those who missed it last summer…and to those who want to see it again!”

Then it’s Xanadu from June 21st to the 30th. A Pop Musical “Hilarity on Wheels”! This Tony-Award-nominated, roller-skating musical adventure is based on the 1980 cult classic movie starring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly.

Third in the season is Unnecessary Farce, from July 5th to the 15th. A CRT “revival” of one of our most popular comedies!

Following up Unnecessary Farce, is The Cake from July 19th to the 28th. The Regional Premiere of a delicious new comedy. Faith, family and frosting collide in this timely new play.

And to close out the season it’s The Wizard of Oz from August 2nd to the 19th. Follow the yellow brick road over the rainbow to CRT’s own unique telling of this beloved tale.
