Cortland Police Seeking to Identify Suspect(s) Who Threw Rocks at Houses and Vehicles on Cortland’s East Side

The City of Cortland Police Department is investigating multiple criminal mischief incidents that involved rocks that were thrown at both houses and vehicles. CPD says multiple homes and cars were targeted and had occurred on June 3rd between 11pm and 2:30 in the morning.

Cortland Police continues to investigate the vandalism and is asking anyone in the area who may have seen a person(s) walking around during the hours mentioned above, have any video footage (including Ring doorbells), and any neighbor arguments that may have taken place.

The department is also asking residents in the area to check if there was any damage that was not yet reported to police.

The areas where the crimes took place include: 7 and 13 Pendleton Street, and 15 Crandall Street. All information may be provided to PTL Locke or by contacting CPD at 607-345-3943.
