A woman from Lafayette didn’t use her signal to turn at Homer Avenue and Maple Ave just before 3 am Saturday, according to Cortland Police.
Officers stopped Rachel Morgan, 27, and determined she was intoxicated.
The DWI charge became a felony because she had a prior conviction within ten years, say police.
Morgan is also accused of drinking alcohol in the vehicle.
She was released until a City Court appearance set for June 6.
Cortland Police also report the arrest of an accused boot thief.
Billy Foster, Jr, 24, of Cortland, is accused of stealing a pair of boots from a vehicle parked near where he lives on Groton Avenue.
Foster was arrested Saturday morning at 11 am, charged with Petit Larceny and released.
He is also due in Cortland City Court June 6, according to city police.
