Cortland Police arrested John Alexander, 33, of Cortland on Sunday morning at 11.
Police say he violated an Order of Protection against him on May 17 when Alexander is accused of fighting with a 30-year old woman at a home on South Avenue.
Police obtained a warrant that charged Alexander with felony Aggravated Family Offense, felony Criminal Contempt and Harassment.
He was held in the Cortland County Jail until his City Court appearance scheduled for Tuesday.
Another accused violator of a court order was arrested Friday afternoon, according to Cortland Police.
Benjamin Westmoreland, 46, of Cortland, was at a home on Central Avenue on Thursday night with a 30-year old woman with a valid order of protection against him, according to police.
Police charged Westmoreland with felony Criminal Contempt, and note that he was already convicted of Criminal Contempt in Cortland County Court in January.
Westmoreland was jailed with no bail allowed until a City Court appearance scheduled on Wednesday.
An argument with another man in front of two young boys led to charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment for Billy Hewes, 55, of Cortland.
Cortland Police say he argued with a 25-year old man at a South Avenue home, spit in the man’s face and tried to fight him in front of the boys.
Hewes was ticketed and released until a City Court appearance scheduled on June 13.
