
Cortland-native Jordan Prior returns to ABA Binghamton Bulldogs

Jordan Prior — a Cortland high school graduate — was a standout player at SUNY Morrisville, where he averaged 16.8 points per game, 4.0 rebounds and 3.2 assists, while shooting 44.5% from three and making 81 three-pointers in just 29 games.
Behind his leadership, the Mustangs went 23-6 and advanced all the way to the NCAA National tournament Elite 8.
Prior spent 2017-18 as a rookie with his current squad, the Binghamton Bulldogs, taking a couple years off before returning this season.
In his first year, he averaged 13.1 ppg as a 6th man, helping lead the team to a 23-4 overall record.
He also shot 44.1% from behind the arc, which was a team-best.
Prior lit up the Red vs White game last Saturday, scoring 24 points on 5-7 shooting behind the arc.
His team’s season opener is coming this Saturday night (Feb. 27) against the Philly Stunnaz.
The Bulldogs are a Minor league basketball team entering its 4th year in the American Basketball Association (ABA).
Their three-year record is 59-16.
