Cortland Memorial Foundation’s Annual Nightingale Benefit Concert Happening Next Week

The Cortland Memorial Foundation says they will be again hosting their annual Nightingale Benefit Concert next Friday, May 2nd from 6 to 10pm. The event is to again celebrate nurses at Guthrie. The concert will be taking place at the Center for the Arts in Homer and will feature The Fall Creek Brass Band.

The event will benefit the Memorial Foundation, who supports Guthrie Cortland Medical Center’s continuous efforts in providing high-quality, and compassionate health care. All nurses at Guthrie will be honored with one presented the Nightingale Award. The Memorial Foundation added this event is a perfect way to kick off National Nurses Week and to celebrate the birthday of Florence Nightingale, who is considered the founder of modern nursing.

Tickets for next Friday evenings event are $50 per person and may be purchased HERE. Proceeds will help meet the critical needs of health care in the Cortland Community.
