The Cortland Memorial Foundation held their 20th annual golf classic on Monday, August 14th at the Cortland Country Club. During the classic, the foundation raised over $53,000 dollars.
Money raised during the event goes to support Guthrie Cortland Medical Center for equipment and programs which will enhance patient care, promote health education, and improve the quality of life in the Cortland Community.
Since its founding in 2004, the annual golf classic has raised over $1.3 million dollars for support of hospital programs and initiatives.
“We had a perfect weather day for our golfers! I am honored to carry on this well-loved tradition for the Foundation and am so grateful for our generous sponsors and the many volunteers who help to make this event such a success.” said Sheila Ossit, CMF Director. “Our medical center partners with many businesses, corporations and organizations on a daily basis who enable us to provide the best care possible for our patients at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.”
