A man from Cortland was arrested Friday, February 18, on a felony Arson warrant connected to a fire at a home in Marathon January 9.
Cortland County Sheriff’s Lt. Garry Williams tells X101 News that Chad McKane, 40, set fire to a home on Swift Street, violating an order of protection.
McKane also faces Criminal Mischief and Contempt charges.
Mr. McKane was processed at the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and turned over to the Cortland County Jail where (as of Friday, February 18) he is awaiting arraignment through CAP.
