Cortland Man Charged Arrested After Stealing From Walmart – Faces Felony & Misdemeanor Charges

On Thursday, March 20th, officers with Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Walmart in Cortlandville for a reported larceny. An investigation into the larceny complaint found 47 year old Bodie L. Metzger of Cortland, has stolen merchandise from the store. Metzger had been previously trespassed from the store, the Sheriff’s Office says.

Officers arrested and charged Metzger with Burglary in the 3rd, a Felony, and Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor. He was transported to the Cortland County Jail for Centralized Arraignment. He was later released on his own recognizance.
