A Cortland man was arrested yesterday (November 19) on three felony counts, after two separate area residents claimed he had accepted money from them in order to make repairs at their homes and then never completed the work.
Cortland County Sheriffs say 35-year-old Tyler Trudeau of Lake Como Road in Cortland turned himself in yesterday following an investigation.
They say he had agreed to use the money for building materials in both cases, then never returned to complete either job.
Trudeau was charged with 2 counts of grand larceny and 1 fraud-related count.
He was remanded to Cortland County Jail and is set to appear in court on December 18.
