Cortland Man Arrested For Drug Possession

A traffic stop was conducted on Route 11 in Cortlandville around 10 in the morning yesterday morning, March 26th by an officer with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office says their officer observed 40 year old Everett C. McIntosh of Cortland drove a vehicle on Port Watson Street in the city while his driving privileges were revoked.

During the traffic stop, officers also found McIntosh to be in possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd, both Misdemeanors. 

McIntosh was transported to the Cortland County Jail for processing and later released on appearance tickets. He is due in Cortland City Court next month.
