New York State Police at Homer, with the assistance of the Troop C Computer Crimes Unit and the Troop C Forensic Identification Unit have announced the arrest of Cortland man for two felonies, Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child.
In the press release, police report they arrested Lee A. Webster, age 66 of Cortland, NY last Wednesday. (November 17th)
He’s accused of possessing and sharing images of a sexual performance by a child less than 16 years of age.
His arrest comes after an investigation stemming from a cyber tip received by the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
He was processed and later transported to Cortland County jail.
