The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Cortlandville Walmart yesterday, March 26th, for a reported larceny that had taken place.
After an investigation conducted by officers, they were able to determine 40 year old Scotty L. Youngs of Cortland had passed all points of sale within the store and stole merchandise.
Officers arrested Youngs and charged him with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor. He was transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and then given an appearance ticket to return to Cortlandville Town Court next month.
