Cayuga County Sheriff David Gould reports that on Saturday (July 7th) just after 3:30 in the morning, the Cayuga County 911 Center got a call reporting an assault that had just happened outside a home in the Town of Locke. Emergency Services were dispatched to the location where they found a 29 year old male victim who had been stabbed multiple times.
The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he is currently being treated. At this time the victim’s injuries do not seem life threatening.
An investigation by the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of 34 year old Bryan Lee, of Cortland. He was charged with one count of assault.
He was arraigned in Owasco Town Court and ordered to be held at the Cayuga County Jail, bail set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond. This is an ongoing investigation and additional charges may be added.
