The League of Women Voters of Cortland County (LWV) is asking the community for input on what role the organization should play in this year’s primary and general elections.
To facilitate the discussion, the LWV board has planned a public meeting for Tuesday, February 4 at the Cortland Free Library, where county residents are encouraged to bring their own feedback on the issue. That’ll start up around 4 p.m.
Traditionally, LWV holds open forums around the time of elections to allow residents a chance to hear both sides of any given issue or race.
Several critical primaries are hurded for April and June, before an important general election is held on Tuesday, November 3, which this year also includes a presidential election.
