Matt King of Cortland has been nominated through New York State Industries for the Disabled (NYSID) Joslin’s Award Program. The program seeks to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments and professional development of those with disabilities.
Matt has been working on NYSID contracts at the JM Murray since 2009. He was diagnosed with severe sensorineural hearing loss, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD. Since his employment, Matt has demonstrated that he is an outgoing worker with a positive mindset and is able take on a variety of jobs, including packaging toothbrushes and toothpaste, which he was contracted to do through NYSID.
