Cortland Legislators reviewing RFP’s for Consultant

Local News

The Cortland County Budget and Finance Committee will hold a special meeting tomorrow morning (March 6) to review responses for a Request for Proposals (RFP) distributed by the legislature last month seeking a consulting services.

Specifically, legislators are looking to improve the county’s long-term operational efficiency and strategic planning, while conducting a complete organizational assessment and establishing workable areas where leadership development can be achieved.

Part of the $250k transferred last month from the Jail Reserve Fund into the county’s Professional Services account will be used to pay for a consultant, although nothing is confirmed on ultimately how much of that will be used.

Tomorrow’s meeting is expected to produce a clearer picture, which begins at 9 am in Room 304 of the County Office Building.
