On this morning’s double-feature edition of Meet Cortland County :
Cortland and Homer School Superintendents, Mike Hoose and Tom Turck, spoke with WXHC’s Vinnie Bellardini about the many adjustments each district has made in light of the rapidly evolving conditions surrounding COVID-19.
Last week, Governor Cuomo extended the NYS on Pause order which effectively closed schools for at least another two weeks until April 29 – at the earliest. Additionally, state officials announced that the June Regents exams would be cancelled.
In addition to discussing what’s expected at this point, both Hoose and Turck talked volumes about the hard work of their staff and the many volunteers who have jumped in to help during the uncertain times.
