(Mossotti-Kline)

Cortland Free Library yesterday named Lauren Mossotti-Kline as the newest member of the organization’s Board of Trustees.

The Baldwinsville native has served as an advisor to a variety of businesses and nonprofits and is a small business owner herself.

Previously, she worked as a consultant and freelance writer for Care Compass Network, as well as marketing/PR director for the Cortland hospital.

Mossotti-Kline also spent time as a development officer for Cornell University and a business development director at Syracuse-based MRA LLC.

She holds a BA in English and Music from Gettysburg College and has also studied at Syracuse University.

“We enthusiastically welcome Lauren’s rich business and communications experience, particularly as
we seek to expand the volume and nature of our outreach to our service area,” said Cortland Free Library Board President Vivian Bosch. “As an avid user of the library’s services and a mother of three, Lauren also brings the benefit of her hands-on experience with our youth services collection and programming.”
