Cortland LGBTQ Project Coordinator Samantha Adams about tips to stay as productive as possible for those who may still be working from home.
Getting work done remotely can come with a host of challenges even before considering the current stresses involved with the pandemic causing a dramatic shift to normal routines.
While it’s unrealistic to assume we can make working from home an exact replica of going into the office, Adams explains there are things we can to do help feel productive and connected while making the best of the situation.
“Home life and work life start to blend together and it can start to feel like you’re working 24/7 yet not getting everything done,” Adams said during the interview. “Be kind to yourself. No giving yourself a hard time if you aren’t reaching your definition of a WFH superhero. You’re doing your best in a time of great uncertainty, and that deserves to be honored.”
