Cortland Elks Lodge 748 Donates Towards Cortland Police Shop With a Cop

The Cortland Elks Lodge 748 has donated $2,000 towards the City of Cortland Police Departments annual Shop With a Cop. Cortland Police are currently accepting nominations through November 18th for a child to participate in the event that’ll take place in early December.

Cortland Police are asking residents if they know a family that is experiencing financial hardship, health crisis, or a loss in the family as the department is currently accepting nominations for the event. Nominations will only be accepted through a completed form, found HERE. Cortland Police say each child will be given a specific amount of money to shop with an officer with Cortland Police. They will also be expected to purchase a gift or gifts for someone else in their family besides themselves.
