Cortland Duo Arrested For Attempted Robbery

Two people were arrested Thursday (October 18) afternoon after Cortland police say they attempted to steal from the P&C Fresh on Clinton Ave.

Police were called to the store around 2:15 Thursday afternoon where they say 28-year-old Jordan Price of Cortland stole several food items from the store and got into a physical altercation with an employee who tried to stop him from leaving.

Price was found with a methamphetamine, a needle, digital scales and packaging material used for selling drugs at the time of his arrest.

He was accompanied by 34-year-old Kimberly Cummings of Locke, who was also arrested on similar charges.
