Cortland DMV Now Open to Appointments Only – Fully Open on Monday

Cortland County Clerk Brooke Kemak says the state’s software upgrade for the entirety of the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is now complete. With this, the Cortland DMV will be open for appointments today, Friday, only, and open to normal hours starting on Monday.

Those planning to visit the Cortland DMV will encounter longer wait times as DMV employees continue to adjust to the new software system. Kemak says the new system is significantly different than their old system employees were accustomed to. Visitors are asked to be patient.
