The Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau along with other Cortland County tourism partners have announced the launch of Cortland Curiosities: A Strange and Forgotten History Trail.
The trail tells the history and lore behind the County’s interesting, wacky and occasionally spooky past including hauntings, scandals, murders and larger-than-life characters from all corners of Cortland County. The launch of the trail features nine county-wide themed driving paths; it also includes multiple pre-planned routes with maps, addresses, descriptions and historical photos.
Cortland County locations featured on the trail include the 1890 House, CNY Living History Center and the Cortland County Historical Society. More details can be found on the official website www.cortlandcuriosities.com.
