Cortland County SPCA Looking For Donations After Recent Hoarding Case Brings in Over 20 Cats
The Cortland County SPCA is looking for donations after they said the organization was recently notified of a hoarding case involving over 20 cats. The SPCA says the animals will be rescued and arrive at the shelter; the condition of the cats is currently unknown at this time.
With the large influx of cats, the SPCA says they’re low on donations and is asking the community for donations and any assistance they can offer. Items the SPCA is in need for are cat litter, used towels/sheets, and Hills Science Diet Adult Cat Food. They are also accepting any monetary donation.
All money raised will go towards the medical care the cats will most likely need. You can make a monetary donation by visiting CortlandSPCA.org/donate. You can also drop off donations at their location at 879 McLean Road in Cortland Tuesday through Saturday noon to 4pm.
