All school districts in Cortland County would see an over 2% increase in state aid this year under Governor Cuomo’s proposed budget.
According to the Governor’s budget proposal, the Homer Central School District would see the largest increase in aid.
Homer would see a 3.4% increase in operating aid. Total state aid would be just under $24 million dollars.
The McGraw School District would receive an almost 3% increase in aid for a total of $7.8 million.
Cortland schools would see the smallest increase at 2.1%, for a total of just over $27 million dollars.
Cincinnatus and Marathon schools would see 2.6% and 2.5% aid increases respectively. Cincinnatus would receive over $10 million and Marathon would pick up over $11 million in state aid.
