The Cortland County Recycling Center on Pendleton St. in the City of Cortland is reminding residents of what plastics are accepted at the recycling center. The facility has faced issues with certain types of plastics going to the center when they should be going in regular trash.
Plastic items that have the chasing arrows symbol with either the #1 or #2 located inside the arrows are the plastic containers that are accepted at the recycling center. Everything else just goes into your regular trash.
