Cortland County Mental Health Walk Happening May 15th

Cortland County’s annual Mental Health Awareness Walk will be taking place on Thursday, May 15th beginning at noon at the Cortland County Fairgrounds located at 4301 Fairgrounds Drive in Cortland.

The county says the walk is an opportunity for the community to come together to support one another, celebrate resilience, and to raise awareness for mental wellness within the Cortland Community. Anyone is welcomed to join in the walk. Parking will be available at the fairgrounds public parking lot.

The walk will leave the fairgrounds and will then go down Homer Ave to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center before turning around back towards the fairgrounds.

Prior to the walk itself, at 11am, there will be a Community Resource Fair with speeches at noon before the walk will begin. More information on the walk and how to register to either participate in the walk or to table to the event may be found on the Cortland County Legislature’s Facebook page.
