Tonight at 6 o’clock, the Cortland County Legislature will meet for their monthly meeting in the Legislative Chambers at the County Office building in the City of Cortland.
Tonight’s meeting will include public hearings regarding four different local laws. Those are: Creating the Cortland County Finance Department, Imposing a tax on real estate transfers, increasing the salary of officers elected or appointed for a fixed term, and setting the salary for the Cortland County Election Commissioners.
Items for tonight’s meeting will include: Creating a County Finance Department, Imposing a Tax on Real Estate Transfers, and Adopting the 2024 County Budget.
