The Cortland County Health Department is warning that the Community Level for COVID-19 remains HIGH. At this level the Health Department is recommending (but not requiring) to wear a mask indoors in a public area, stay up to date with COVID-19 Vaccines, and get tested if you show symptoms.
The Community level of COVID-19 is determined by new COVID-19 hospital admissions per 100,000 population in the past seven days, the percent of staffed inpatient beds occupied by COVID-19 patients, and new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population within the past 7 days.
