The COVID-19 Community Level in Cortland County has increased from Low to Medium from the recent January 19th report from the County Health Department.
At this level the health department recommends those who are at high risk for illness to speak with your healthcare provider if you should wear a mask, stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, get tested if you show symptoms, and those who are exposed, test positive, or symptoms to wear a mask.
There are currently three patients hospitalized at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center due to COVID-19 illness. The total deaths remain the same at 134 for the county. The County Health Department reports 60.9% of the population is fully vaccinated with a booster and 61.2% are fully vaccinated with no booster.
