Cortland Country Music Park to Host First Annual Lights Around the Pond Next Week
The Cortland Country Music Park and Campground at 1824 Route 13 in Cortland, will be hosting their first annual Lights Around the Pond: A Cowboy Christmas for three nights next week. Costing only $3 per-vehicle, the drive-thru show will be open from 6pm to 8pm on December 16th, 17th, and 18th.
X101 News recently spoke with Ty Marshal, President of the Statewide Country Music Association Inc, who said following the drive around the pond, visitors may stop at the Opry Barn where they can get a picture with Cowboy Santa and enjoy cocoa and cookies. Marshal believes this is the only drive-thru Christmas display between Syracuse and Binghamton.
“It’s our first year, it certainly is very cute.” Marshal said to X101 News. “It’s great for kids and families and [it’s] for kids of all ages.”
The Lights Around the Pond was made possible with multiple and generous donations of inflatable Christmas displays, Marshal added.
