Cortland City Council meets tonight (Tuesday) at 7 pm at City Hall.
Traffic control at the intersections of Pomeroy and Elm and Pomeroy and Central will be addressed during a public hearing. Both may get those flashing red light stop signs like the city uses at Greenbush and Elm Streets.
The city may also approve the location for a planned 9/11 memorial at Courthouse Park.
Is it time for a city-wide property re-assessment? Council will discuss.
Aldermen will consider a resolution asking for state permission to add a 3% Occupancy Tax.
And like last year, the city may decide to suspend building permit fees for residential projects of $20-thousand or less through the end of the year.
The Cortlandville Planning Board meets tonight as does the Village Board in Freeville.
The Cortland School board meets for a special work session tonight, trying to sort out what to do about too many buildings and too few students.
