Tom Gallagher, President of the Cortland Community Foundation, spoke with WXHC about the “Cortland Cares COVID fund.”

The special partnership was launched this week with the Cortland United Way to raise donations that will help fund the area’s local food programs, which are currently handling a rush of demand from the community.

Cortland Community Foundation established the fund with a $25k contribution and they’re now challenging others to join the fight with a commitment to match every last donation, dollar-for-dollar.

Grants will then be administered as needed on a rolling basis.
