The City of Cortland Common Council meets tomorrow night at 6pm in City Hall with another busy agenda set.
Some of the items set for tomorrow’s meeting include scheduling public hearings for Local Law No. 12 to amend chapter 300 to allow for building or property repurpose that serve a substantial public benefit, and for Local Law No. 13 to amend applicable City of Cortland Charter and Administrative Code Provisions relative to code enforcement to comply with the latest NYS local code requirements.
Some of the other items include authorizing a special event permit for the Overdose Awareness Candle Vigil, New security and fire monitoring systems for the Beaudry Park Building and Youth Bureau Offices.
The Common Council will also look at abolishing the Payroll Clerk position and then create a Payroll/Benefits Manager position within the cities Department of Administration & Finance.
