Cortland City Firefighters responded to 60 Owego Street at 2:22pm this afternoon (January 25th) for a reported fire in a room of single occupied house.
On arrival, firefighters found smoke conditions and confirmed a fire in an upstairs room.
City firefighters were able to make quick work extinguishing the fire.
Owego Street was closed while firefighters were on scene.
No injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation.
