During May, Governor Andrew Cuomo and state legislature leaders solicited suggestions from businesses around the state to reduce the cost of doing business in New York – without compromising protections for workers.
The recommendations are online, so we approached Cortland County Chamber of Commerce Director Bob Haight for his take.
He supports reforms aimed at making regulations more uniform. Haight says it helps businesses to know the rules are consistent between towns or counties.
