A meeting of the CCTVS Committee is set for Wednesday night (June 26) at 7:00, which brings together the County, City, Towns, Villages and Schools.
Topics on the agenda are related to events in April when many of the County’s mayors and town supervisor’s essentially took a vote of no confidence in the Legislature.
Wednesday’s meeting will discuss the “current plan for the benefit of all members.” They’ll also talk about the procedures required to leave the plan if a municipality wishes to do so.
The official list of discussion items is as follows:
1.) Introductions and Discussions Regarding Continuance of Current Plan for the Benefit of All Current Members
2.) Required timeline of a municipality leaving the plan
3.) Economic Example of the City of Cortland leaving the Plan
4.) Process of an Exit and Calculating the Actual Final Cost to a Departing Municipality
5.) Plan Participants, and County Choices as of August 1st, 2019
Wednesday night’s meeting will take place in the Cortland County Office Building auditorium, located at 60 Central Avenue in Cortland.
