Cortland BOE Studying Grade And Building Needs

Local News

The Cortland Enlarged Central School District Board of Education has begun studying grade configuration and facility use.

The Board has hired a consultant firm to conduct a facilities study to answer the question “Now and in the future, is there a better way to arrange the grades and school buildings to maintain, and perhaps enhance, the education of CECSD students while ensuring fiscal responsibility to the taxpayer? If so, how should the grades and schools be organized?”

The community is encouraged to attend these meetings, which will be held each month until the final report is presented to the BOE in December.
