Cortland Board of Education Tackles Busy Agenda

The Cortland School Board at its meeting tonight (Wednesday) will work on next year’s budget, and accept the resignation at the end of the school year for teacher Phyllis Lizenberg Klumpp…who will become principal at Barry School.

Other agenda items include approving 3.5% raises for some administrations including the Treasurer, Transportation supervisor, Director of Special Ed, Curriculum and Business Administrator.

The Board Clerk stipend will jump from $2,400 to $4,500 and after a three year omission, the Tax Collector stipend will be restored to $5,000.

Updates on Virgil and Parker schools are also expected.
