Cortland Police report an arrest from one o’clock Thursday morning.
Christopher Duers, 23, of Cortland, was stopped on Lincoln Avenue and reportedly ran away from police.
Officers say he didn’t have a license, but they did find heroin and a needle.
Duers was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration, Unlicensed Operation, Possession of the needle and of a controlled substance.
He’s scheduled for arraignment in Cortland City Court Thursday (today).
Cortland Police arrested Nicholas Partis, 31, of Cortland, Wednesday morning at 9:15.
Lt. Rick Troyer reports that Partis is accused of damaging the TV and iPhone of a 55-year old woman at a Port Watson Street home the day before.
Partis was sent to the Cortland County Jail awaiting a thousand dollars cash bail on a charge of Criminal Mischief.
His next court date is scheduled on June 29.
New York State Police arrested Roger Burns, 60, of Moravia, on Tuesday morning.
Burns was given an appearance ticket for felony Grand Larceny.
Troopers indicate the fraud involved was greater than a thousand dollars and was reported June 8 in the Town of Moravia.
State Police report the arrest late Sunday of Derrick Rowser, 57, of Dryden, for DWI and several traffic tickets.
Troopers say they observed Rowser crossing a double yellow line on Rt 13 in Dryden near Rt 366 and pulled him over.
Following arraignment in Dryden Town Court, Rowser was sent to the Tompkins County Jail awaiting $750 cash bail.
