Three arrests to report from Friday in the City of Cortland:
- Police say Anthony Aloi, 35, of Groton got into a fight on Main Street at about 2:20 am. Officers say he tussled with them when they arrested him on charges of disorderly conduct…and resisting arrest. Aloi’s next court date is April 26.
At about 2:30 pm Friday, Daniel Whitman, 26, of Cortland was arrested at his home on a parole warrant. Officers say they found him with meth and charged him with possession of a controlled substance before turning Whitman over to parole officers. Daniel Layne, 17, was also at Whitman’s home. He was wanted on a family court warrant. Officers say he, too had meth and was charged with possession.
Woman Arrested Friday in Dryden:
She acted in a manner that was injurious to a child under age 17 and displayed a deadly weapon in the presence of the child. That’s what Dryden Police said when they arrested Tabatha Goyette, 43, of Dryden on Friday. Police got involved after being asked to check on her. Goyette was arraigned in Town court and sent to the Tompkins County Jail awaiting bail.
